Graticules

This is a map of all graticules containing parts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and its Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies. The United Kingdom consists of the constituent countries of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland; additionally it has responsibility for 14 British Overseas Territories and 3 Crown Dependencies.

The United Kingdom borders Ireland; additionally its graticules border France. In addition, British Overseas Territories border Cyprus and Spain, additionally, its graticules border Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, and the United States, as well as the waters of the Dominican Republic, Morocco, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Not all graticules in the United Kingdom and its dependencies have been visited, there are still virgin graticules, which are colored orange. If a graticule was visited, it is colored green, unless it has never been visited when the geohash was in the United Kingdom, in which case the graticule is colored blue.

The graticule gives the name of the first geohasher in that graticule and a link to the first successful expedition. If the first successful expedition was not in the United Kingdom, the first successful expedition in the United Kingdom and the name of that geohasher would also be given, unless there has not been a successful expedition in the United Kingdom yet.
