What is this?

Geohashing to przygoda polegająca na odbyciu podróży do przypadkowego miejsca na określonym obszarze. Każdego dnia algorytm generuje przypadkowe lokalizacje przy użyciu danych giełdowych. Zestaw współrzędnych jest generowany dla każdego 1°×1° szerokości/długości geograficznej świata (zwanych siatką. Współrzędne te mogą leżeć w każdym miejscu siatki — w lesie, w mieście, na górze a nawet na środku jeziora! W danym obszarze każdy otrzymuje ten sam zestaw koordynatów.

Wygenerowane koordynaty są wykorzystywane jako miejsce przygody, à la Geocaching, lub jako miejsce spotkania lokalnej społeczności. Prosimy, po powrocie z wyprawy udokumentuj swoją ekspedycję! Oficjalne spotkania xkcd odbywają się każdej soboty o 4 popołudniu(*) na koordynatach wygenerowanych dla tego dnia. Saturday meetup jest uznany, jeśli znajdujesz się tam o 16:00 lub jeśli spotkałeś się z innymi geohasherami, a najbardziej prawdopodobne jest, że spotkasz się z innymi użytkownikami xkcd jeśli stawisz się tam o wyznaczonej godzinie. Przynieś gry!

Jeśli koordynaty są dla Ciebie dostępne, chętnie podejmuj geohash każdego dnia. Gdy próbujesz osiągnąć cel raz na tydzień, postaraj się zrobić to w sobotę. Wszystkie spotkania rozpoczynają się o 16:00 lub od oznaczenia na stronie siatki.

Istnieje także osiągnięcie za udział w 100 sobotnich spotkaniach.
