Drag-along achievement

The Drag-Along achievement can be earned by reaching the geohash together with a friend or acquaintance who has not heard of geohashing before. The dragee does not need to be a reader of xkcd, though it helps. It does not count toward the drag-along achievement if you have to use duct tape, rope, coax cable or forcibly move the person.

If you send a non-geohasher to a geohash, but you are unable to attend the geohash yourself, you probably qualify for the Puppet Master Geohash instead of this one.

• Jevanyn achieved this on June 28th in Westfield, New Jersey when he brought his wife and son. He also took his son on an "adventure" on July 26th to Marlboro.

• Paintedhell reached the location for July 27th in 50, 11 with Basti.

• Coreycubed reached the geohash for August 11th, 2008 in 32, -80 with Skytso, who became a geohasher later that day.

• Mikkozzz reached the location for Aug 31st in 60, 24 and dragged archival ink with him.

• Bishop Wash reached the location for 20 September 2008 in 34, -106 with his wife.
• Arvid found another mad recumbent rider to join him cycling the 115km to the Ketelmeer north of Kampen (and back) at 20 September 2008, in the Netherlands.
• Kieran dragged Acajou to the 2008-09-29 -36 146 hash.
• Arvid asked at the very last moment some other recumbent riders to join him for 2008-10-25 52 6, which they did.
• Hermann dragged his fellow student Matthias to 2008-12-15 53 9.
• Psud dragged his daughter Helen to 2008-06-14 -35 149

• Thomcat has brought portions of or his entire family to many geohashes, a good example being 2008-09-27 47 -122.
• Uglystick drug along a bunch of kids (some of his and some of his brother's) to 2008-12-30 31 -94, his first geohash.
• Brett introduced his friend Nathan to geohashing on March 14, 2009 in 40, -88.
• Nathan introduced his friend Jianfeng to geohashing on March 21, 2009 in Montezuma, IN.
• Lavataucher met x.DahLia for the first time and dragged her to his first hash.
• Koepfel and Ekorren met a total stranger at an intersection in the forest and convinced him to join them on their quest to reach 2009-04-25 48 8
• On2Wheels dragged his wife Chelsea to a geohash on 2009-06-30 33 -84
• ryanb dragged his friend Travis along down an alley in Los Angeles 2009-08-30 34 -118
• Macronencer dragged his friend Paul along to a rather damp failed speed racer hash 2009-09-02 50 -2
• Macronencer dragged his friend Nodders along to a dark walk through a forest on the South Downs 2009-09-18 50 -0
• Sermoa dragged colleague Richard (in a lunch break) to a beautiful view of Winchester: 2009-10-23 51 -1
