This graticule is at latitude 49, longitude 8 and is one of Germany's most active. It contains the Rhein-Neckar-Triangle, a densely populated region around Mannheim and Heidelberg. It includes the southern half of Mainz as well as the northern portion of Karlsruhe and contains large parts of the Odenwald in the east.

Statistically, once every three years a hashpoint hits France in the most southwestern part of the graticule.

• 2010-01-20: Just a few m east of Abbey Neuburg, a Benedictine monastery. ilpadre walked there, but found it fenced.
• 2010-01-11: fivetonsofflax was in Laudenbach.
• 2010-01-09: Ekorren and Koepfel found the hashpoint in a snowy field near the river Elsenz, between Mauer and Reilsheim. fivetonsofflax and Euterkuh walked 13 kilometers for nothing.
• 2010-01-06: In a forest near Darmstadt-Eberstadt. ilpadre went there by train, with his new GPS.
• 2009-11-30: In a field 1.5 km from Bad Schönborn. Koepfel went there and left a marker for ilpadre.
• 2009-11-29: Euterkuh and fivetonsofflax went to the hashpoint in the woods near Affolterbach.
• 2009-11-19: 50 m into a field near Ladenburg. ilpadre cycled there.
• 2009-11-14: In the middle of the Ettlinger Tor shopping centre in Karlsruhe. A total of eight people went there and met - ilpadre, Fluxkompensator, Koepfel, Mo6eB and friends.
• 2009-11-08: Euterkuh and fivetonsofflax went to the hashpoint near Schlierbach.
• 2009-11-04: ilpadre walked to Sandhausen (again).
• 2009-10-28: In a field at Rohrbach (Pfalz). Ekorren went there, mostly to collect achievements.
• 2009-10-23: In a corn field in Maximiliansau. Koepfel was there in the afternoon.
• 2009-10-17: At the outer fence of the Hockenheimring racing course. Danatar went there after visiting his origin hashpoint.

• 2009-09-08: In a field east of Mannheim. ilpadre was tricked by construction work and outdated satellite imagery and walked to the wrong field.
• 2009-08-27: ilpadre walked to a forest in Sandhausen.
• 2009-08-22: Danatar does a xkcd-100 in Schifferstadt.
• 2009-08-19: ilpadre cycled to a forest east of Weinheim.
• 2009-07-23: In Altenbach (Schriesheim). ilpadre went there by bike.

• 2009-07-21: Located in Karlsruhe on or next to a newly built section of a main road (B10) between Hagsfeld and Grötzingen. Fluxkompensator was there at 10:00, Koepfel at 19:20.
• 2009-07-20: ilpadre met Koepfel in the morning and Euterkuh and fiveonsofflax in the evening at a public housing complex about 3 km from central Heidelberg.
• 2009-07-11: Despite several delayed trains. Koepfel managed to reach the Hashpoint near a playing field between Kirrweiler and Diedesfeld.
• 2009-07-09: ilpadre's attempt was thwarted by a flat tyre.
• 2009-07-04: ilpadre cycled to a meadow in Bensheim.
• 2009-07-03: Koepfel reached the Hashpoint in a forest near a residential area in Leopoldshafen.
• 2009-07-01: The Hashpoint was located in Karlsruhe's suburb Hagsfeld. Fluxkompensator and Koepfel met there at midnight, Koepfel walked there again in the afternoon.
• 2009-06-25: Danatar went to a meadow near Haßloch (Pfalz) by train and bike.
• 2009-06-23: In Epfenbach, in a garden on private property. ilpadre cycled there and went into ambassador mode.
• 2009-06-20: Koepfel found the Hashpoint in a field near Neuenbürg (Kraichtal).
• 2009-06-15: In a potato field in Neurott, 7 km from central Heidelberg. ilpadre walked there.
• 2009-06-12: Struggling with the US-Military, raptors, mother nature and an empty battery, Koepfel reached the Hashpoint in a forest between Germersheim and Zeiskam.
• 2009-06-08: On an abandoned hiking trail between Waldwimmersbach (Lobbach) and Haag (Schönbrunn). ilpadre cycled there.

• 2009-05-13: ilpadre cycled to the Kleine Speyerer Basis, the place where Friedrich Magnus Schwerd (German Wikipedia) demonstrated his method of triangulation in 1822.
• 2009-04-30: At a playground in a residential area in Wieblingen. ilpadre walked there at noon, fivetonsofflax and Euterkuh in the evening.
• 2009-04-24: fivetonsofflax and Euterkuh tried to meet Koepfel in a field near Insheim, but missed each other by a couple of minutes. Coordinates were reached, though.
• 2009-04-19: fivetonsofflax and Euterkuh tried to get to the hashpoint in Osthofen, but failed by two meters because of an unfriendly old man.
• 2009-04-18: Koepfel reached the Hashpoint in a meadow near Kürnbach.
• 2009-04-07: Koepfel went to see the Hashpoint on a Rhine branch near Rußheim.
• 2009-03-16: Koepfel visited a lake near Oberhausen-Rheinhausen.
• 2009-03-02: Fail! Koepfel was stopped on the way to the hashpoint by a rescheduled exam.
• 2009-02-24: ilpadre went to Hoffenheim.
• 2009-02-15: ilpadre cycled to Oftersheim City Hall.
• 2009-02-13: Top of a mountain again, ilpadre went to Dossenheim.
• 2009-01-28: ilpadre cycled to a field on top of a mountain near Grein.
• 2009-01-25: Fluxkompensator and Koepfel met in Karlsruhe at a driveway in front of a garage.
• 2009-01-22: Fail! Ryo was blocked by a fence in Mannheim.
• 2009-01-21: Danatar and ilpadre met in a field near Eppelheim.
• 2009-01-07: Ryo headed to Grünstadt/Mertesheim to locate the Geohash.
• 2009-01-05: Located near Pfinztal-Berghausen. Fluxkompensator struggled through the snow by bike.
• 2008-12-30 and 2008-12-31: The two hashpoints being just 4 km apart, ilpadre took the train to the first one in Wörth and walked to the second hashpoint in the middle of the night.
• 2008-12-10: ilpadre went to Mauer and sat down on a bench.
• 2008-11-29: Failed expedition by an anonymous hasher.
• 2008-11-28: Located near Karlsruhe in the forest. Fluxkompensator and a friend were there late in the evening.

• 2008-10-29: Again in Heidelberg, a Déjà Vu Geohash for ilpadre.
• 2008-10-26: Located in the Odenwald, near Heidelberg. ilpadre used the expedition as a running workout.
• 2008-10-22: Located in Heidelberg, ilpadre and Danatar missed each other by 45 minutes.
• 2008-06-01: The first reported expedition in this graticule. Zer0 went to a forest near Epfenbach but did not reach the coordinates (for reasons yet unknown).
