Ekorren earned the Easter Bunny Ribbon by photographing the Easter Bunny on Easter Monday, en route to the (49, 9) geohash on 2009-04-13.

Sermoa, Mapaholic and Macronencer earned the Halloween geohash by celebrating halloween with pumpkins at the (50, -2) geohash on 2009-10-31.

Hans, Tomcat and dawidi earned the Halloween geohash by celebrating halloween at the (48, 12) geohash on 2009-10-31.

Erik, Kira, and DJHobby earned the number of the ʇsɐǝq gratuitous ribbon by reaching the (39, -86) geohash on 2009-09-09.

EleanorAbernathy and LeslieHapablap earned the Neutrality achievement by geohashing on the Austrian national holiday at the (47, 11) geohash on 2013-10-26.

"Who will be the first one?" earned the Christmas achievement by geohashing on the Christmas days (Dec. 24.-26.) (52, 1) geohash on 2010-12-24.

myka earned the No Water Geohash Achievement by reaching the hashpoint on dry land even though it was in the middle of a lake. (-36, 144) geohash on 2009-05-03.

Robyn earned the Salt and Pepper Achievement by reaching water geohashes in both salt and fresh water in the same week, ending with the (49, -121) geohash on 2009-05-16.

Ekorren earned the Unavoidable Geohash by being unable to reroute a train around the (48, 9) geohash on 2009-06-07.

Ekorren earned the History repeats itself ribbon by visiting 10 Déjà Vu Geohashes, #10 being the (48, 9) geohash on 2011-11-25.

OtherJack earned the 5 Boro Achievement by reaching hashes in all five Boroughs of New York City, finishing in Brooklyn with the (40, -73) geohash on 2016-06-04.

Harowcal earned the Powered geohash achievement by finding a geohash under solar panels for the (50, -3) geohash on 2020-05-28.

Timing

MrMoses and DLeininger earned the Nocturnal Geohash Achievement by traveling flashlightless at night to reach the (42, -89) geohash on 2010-01-22.

OtherJack earned the Eclipse Geohash by experiencing a (partial) solar eclipse at the (47, -122) geohash on 2012-05-20.

Thomcat and OtherJack earned the Fiddler on the Roof Ribbon by (respectively) experiencing Sunrise and Sunset at the (47, -122) geohash on 2014-02-03.

Anna, Jens, Juja and Danatar earned the Avoid Each Other Achievement by launching four independent expeditions without meeting up at the (50, 11) geohash on 2014-06-06.

Ekorren earned the Biked on Mount Everest Ribbon by climbing more than 8848 m on bike expeditions until reaching (48, 8) geohash on 2009-05-01.

dawidi earned the Zahnradbahn Achievement by using a noisy century-old contraption to get to the (47, 11) geohash on 2009-05-21.

This user earned the Longboard geohash achievement by travelling all the way on a longboard to the (52, 13) geohash on 2009-07-30.

Sermoa, DavidMiller, Thepiguy, Srs0 earned the Taxi geohash achievement by taking a taxi to the (51, -1) geohash on 2009-10-03.

Ekorren earned the Green Ribbon by going on 100 expeditions without ever using motorized individual transport for the way to the hash, the 100th being the (48, 9) geohash on 2010-06-25.

Q-Owl earned the Ferry Achievement by using a ferry on the way to the hash or back (49, 8) geohash on 2014-03-29.

OtherJack earned the ULTIMATE public transport geohash achievement by riding Metro-North Railroad directly through the error-circle of the (40, -73) geohash on 2015-04-16.

Robyn earned the Badger Mushroom Snake Ribbon by performing the Badger Badger Badger song, with actions, while on Badger Road, en route to (48, -122) geohash on 2009-04-05.

Paintedhell earned the Dandelion Creativity Ribbon by artfully arranging dandelions at the (50, 11) geohash on 2009-05-03.

srs0 earned the Scarred for Life Achievement by for being forced to take "stylish" pictures of Danatar and thepiguy at the (49, 9) geohash on 2009-05-25.

Rhonda, Elbie, Ray, and Xore earned the monkey games achievement by climbing a tree directly on the hashpoint then playing games in it (49, -123) geohash on 2009-06-03.

Meghan earned the Attendance in Effigy Ribbon by having other geohashers build snowmeghans representing her presence at the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-03-09.

Sermoa earned the Musician Achievement by playing xaphoon at the (50, -1) geohash on 2009-06-28.

Macronencer earned the Rubik's Achievement by solving a Rubik's cube at the (50, -1) geohash on 2009-06-28.

thepiguy earned the Secret Agent Geohash Achievement by sneaking into a field at midnight dressed in all black with his awesome spy gear at the (49, 9) geohash on 2009-07-17.

Sermoa,Macronencer and David earned the Card Game achievement by playing cards at the geohash (50, -1) geohash on 2009-08-15.

Omri earned the Time Warp Achievement by for doing the Time Warp again on (31, 34) geohash on 2014-02-18.

Robyn earned the Redefined Success Ribbon by not being eaten by bears while getting to within a kilometre of the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-04-06.

Juja earned the Desert Rallye Consolation Ribbon by sweating, getting a sunburn and craving water in the lonely desert (50, 11) geohash on 2009-05-24.

Elbie earned the Trailblazer Achievement by hiking over 2km through forested terrain with a grade of 40 to 80%, for the (49, -122) geohash on 2009-06-07.

srs0 earned the Hapless Foreign Geohasher by being pitied by numerous German citizens during the (49, 9) geohash on 2009-05-23.

Tomcat earned the Plan B achievement by continuing the expedition despite a major failure of technology, thanks to redundant engines, and thus reaching the (49, 11) geohash on 2009-07-14.

Someone earned the Simply Scared Solace by stopping seventeen smoots short: (46, -64) geohash on 2009-07-12.

mtu earned the False Start Consolation Prize by finding that all of his first 5 geohashes are invalid because the map datum on his GPS was wrongly set to the Potsdam datum instead of the WGS 84 global standard, causing the loss of 13 achievements and approximately 31 hours of lifetime, up to and including the (54, 10) geohash on 2010-11-10.
