This is the list of graticule maps for the sixteen German states. Graticules that have had a successful expedition that also was inside of the borders of the respective state are colored green in that state's map. If there was a successful expedition in the graticule, but not in the state, the graticule is colored blue. Virgin graticules are colored orange. There is also a distinct map for Germany as a whole.

The graticules give the name of the first geohasher in that graticule and a link to the first successful expedition. If the first successful expedition was not in the respective state, the first successful expedition in that state and the name of that geohasher is also given, unless there has not been a successful expedition in that state yet.

Regierungsbezirke

Baden-Württemberg is divided into 4 administrative regions / Regierungsbezirke. They are named after that regions' capitals and must not be confounded with the districts and cities of the same name: there is the Regierungsbezirk Karlsruhe, the Landkreis (rural district) Karlsruhe and the Stadtkreis (urban district/independent city) Karlsruhe.
